Second Class Citizens was published in September 2019. It provides a history of the UK's treatment of disabled people and the creation and subsequent degradation of the welfare state. A particular focus is given to government policies since 2010 and the neoliberal ideology and myths of welfare dependency that underpin these flawed policies.
